For instance the North of England currently has attractions for property investors seeking an enhanced rental return (see our front page) and can be an intresting diversion whilst London and the South East pauses for breath at the moment.

Outside of London we also favour "historic" towns and cities as places for potential investment such as Bath, Winchester, Cambridge and Edinburgh, for example, as places that have historically (no pun intended!) exhibited a combination of good rental yield and long term capital growth.
